Vishwakarma Vidyalaya clinched the 1st prizeat the prestigious Techno Shetra Line Following Robo Race, held at BVDUCOEP. This outstanding victory is a testament to the team’s exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork. What’s even more impressive is that VishwaBot team was the only school team competing against 40 engineering colleges team. A 15-Day Journey That Usually Takes 6 Months
While most teams prepare for 4–6 months, our team received the complete robotics kits only 15 days before the competition.
In these 15 days, students and mentors:
• Designed and built the robot from scratch
• Wrote and tested all control code
• Created custom parts through 3D design and 3D printing
• Assembled, wired, tested, failed, and rebuilt multiple mechanisms
• Prepared the engineering portfolio, presentations, and judging materials
They worked day and night in the lab, showing exceptional dedication and teamwork.

Solving a Unique Engineering Challenge
We used two FTC-approved starter kits from different manufacturers:
• goBILDA
• REV Robotics
These systems have different mechanical standards (shafts, spacing, fittings).
Our students innovatively redesigned mounts and created custom 3D-printed adapters to make both systems work together in one robot — a true example of practical engineering problem-solving.

Community Support & Determination
Facing shortages of certain expansion parts, the team reached out to fellow FTC teams for help. One team generously supported us with required components, reflecting the collaborative spirit of the competition.
Despite logistical and financial hurdles, our students persevered and proudly stood as official participants.
